Meet Your Hosts

Syed Danish Suhail
Founded Beshno Retreats to provide a space where individuals can find inner peace, emotional clarity and a deep connection with the world around them. A Sufi at heart, Danish’s experiences in multiple cultures, from the East to the West, have shaped his vision of offering a sanctuary where empathy is the key to healing.
Deeply influenced by the Chishti Sufi tradition, known for its emphasis on love, tolerance and service, Danish carries forward its essence by weaving its timeless values into each retreat experience. His work blends ancient spiritual teachings with modern wellness practices to create a space for personal growth, reflection and transformation.
Danish’s mission is to guide others on a journey that empowers them to increase their empathy and understanding, both within themselves and in their relationships with others.

Abd al-Wadud Sabaté
We are honoured to welcome Abd al-Wadud Sabaté, a respected Sufi practitioner and spiritual guide based in Barcelona, to join us at Whispers of the Heart. A long-time disciple of the Naqshbandi Sufi order and founder of the Centre Sufi de Barcelona, Abd al-Wadud brings decades of experience in guiding seekers on the Sufi path.
Known for his gentle presence and deep wisdom, he has dedicated his life to teaching spiritual awakening, self-knowledge and inner transformation through the Sufi tradition. During the retreat, he will be offering guided meditations (Muqaraba), leading Dhikr circles and sharing intimate talks on Sufi philosophy, making this a rare opportunity to learn directly from a living practitioner rooted in the tradition.
His presence adds deep authenticity and heart to our retreat, opening the door to spiritual connection for all who attend, regardless of background or belief.
